KAZAKHSTAN.

We have recently partnered with Washington D.C. based client East West Communications to create a high awareness TV campaign for the Kazakhstan government. The 30 second spot will first air on the mega screen in New York's Times Square and will play there for a month. In addition it will also be played out worldwide via Euro News and CNN during the global leadership summit in Kazakhstan. The commercial has been created to celebrate the United Nations awarding Kazakhstan with 'International Day Against Nuclear Testing' on the 29th August, This year will be the 20th anniversary of closing the country's last nuclear testing site after independence from the USSR.

But you already knew that.

Uber's Managing Director Greg said, "It was a great honour to be invited to Kazakhstan by the government to produce this piece. Astana takes your breath away with its modernity and sheer scale. It is a brave stance they are taking to rid themselves, and hopefully the world of nuclear weapons. We are immensely proud of the result."

MOONIE.

You wait for one agency wedding to come along and then three come along at once.
First up it's the Uber royal wedding. El presidente married his sweetheart Kate this weekend and then both Chris and Katie get married too (not to each other). Waves of Uber love go out to the three and their partners. See you on the other side guys.

ACCOUNTLANDER.

We have been appointed by Boss Model Management to work on a new online project after a 4 way pitch earlier this month. We will work closely with Boss to deliver their new website. Head of Digital, Nic 'Blue Steel' Jones said of the project: "We are really excited to be working with Boss. They like orange mocha frappuccino's nearly as much as me."

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED IF THERE WAS MORE TO LIFE OTHER THAN BEING RIDICULOUSLY GOOD LOOKING?

Following our success with Casio's collaboration on Hollywood blockbuster Avatar, we've been tasked by Casio to assist them with their new 'Exilim-Make-Up -Mode' camera. We have created a press and online campaign, as well as a micro-site for the Casio camera. It has the ability to smooth the appearance of your skin giving it the look of a professional make over, all with the click of a button.
Casio's Marketing Communications Manager, Sarah Salter said of the Campaign: "Uber's creative approach has once again answered the brief perfectly.'

Well done Rob 'Mugatu' Sandom on creating this smart campaign shot by Metz and Racine.

WHERE'S WALTON?

We’ve expanded our suit department welcoming games guru Chris Walton to the agency as Account Manager. Chris will manage all areas of the agency’s gaming and entertainment sector, including support on Sega, BAFTA, Activision, Blizzard and Warner Bros. Chris has a wealth of games industry experience having worked for SCI Games, Eidos and Zushi on titles such as Tomb Raider, Kane & Lynch and Championship Manager.

Chris said of his new role: “The fact they have a working Atari 2600 sealed the deal!”
