WOULD YOU LIKE SOME HELP PACKING?

Following a 3-way pitch, Netto chose us to tackle their first TV campaign in 9 years.

The campaign has been running over Christmas and Netto were so happy with the creative results (and an increase in sales over the crucial festival period) that we've now been asked to extend the campaign into 2009.

Congratulations to our very own team of shelf stackers Greg, Rich and Rob who supermarket swept all before them.

DARLINGS.

After being invited to take part in a 4-way pitch we've been appointed to work with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts on a number of exciting design projects during 2009. The partnership has begun with a new and exciting look for the prestigious 2009 film awards tickets and outdoor advertising campaign.

The only drawback to come from working on this illustrious film event is Ricky the diva designer has now decided he needs his own trailer, complete with 27 bottles of mineral water, fresh Lilly's every day, a smorgasbord of organic health foods and the golden rule that nobody should look Ricky directly in the eye when conversing with him.

Break a leg Ricky.

BRUCE WAYNE: "DON'T DIP YOUR OAR IN THIS SORDID SEA, DICK. YOU MIGHT BE BESMIRCHED."

We've waved our Superhero scrapper out the door and into the Christmas shops. Packaging, press campaigns, in-store POS and outdoor media for MK v DC Universe, you name it, we've fought with it.

Richard Benjamin, Uber MD, said of the project, "Being somewhat of a closet geek myself, it's been an absolute pleasure to be in the company of Superman and friends over the last nine months."

Richard denies the opportunity to be Wonder Woman whenever the mood took him had anything to do with his enthusiasm for the project."

YOU'VE GOT A FRIEND IN US.

We've created Booths first ever TV advert to compliment their recently launched Christmas campaign. Accompanied by a re-recording of the 'Toy Story' theme tune by soul singer Jocelyn Brown the advert depicts a Booths family and follows their Christmas from store to home.

Uber Creative Director Mark said, 'We made a conscious decision to steer away from bashing people over the head with price messages or showing shot upon shot of food. the quality of Booths food and drink is beyond question. If a food retailer has survived Christmas for 161 years they must be pretty damn good at what they do.'

Booths account director Alan Baker said, 'I hope I get a Scalextric this year.'

COME IN RUBBER DUCKY...

We have been appointed by bathroom retail giants Bathstore to assist them with the launch of their new starter range.

Bathstore appointed Uber after a series of meetings and then challenged us to create an identity for the limited collection. Along side the name and identity, we have have created the newly launched 'My Price' brochure.

Rumours that we won the project because we looked like we needed a good wash are unfounded.
